Vorbemerkung -- preliminary remark:
Die Schreibweise -- the spelling REBLE and REBLIN is equivalent. Details, s. Woher kommen unsere Namen?

Ein Verwandter -- a relative of  Jacob REBLE (perhaps the grandfather or grand-oncle) is possibly Hans REBLIN,  Schäfer -- shepherd from Schafhausen, son of Adam REBLIN.
oo in Niefern /Baden (the neighboring village of Eutingen), 23 JUN 1655 Barbara BÖRTSCH, daughter of Jacob B., Bürger -- freeman of Eutingen; son: Hans Michael, * 08 JUL 1660 in Niefern.

The origin of Hans REBLIN, shepherd from Schafhausen is uncertain. Which Schafhausen is meant? Probably the village, 25 km south-west of Eutingen /Niefern, near Weil der Stadt, Kreis Böblingen. From this Schafhausen exists an Ortssippenbuch; Band -- Vol.34 Wuerttemberger Ortssippenbücher, by Ernst Christian HAAG. Between 1513 and 1676 we find a lot of REBLINs: Alexander, Hanns, Steffan, Erhart, Michael, Martin, Jauß (Josef), Hans, Cunrad, Adam, etc.

Another Schafhausen could also be the home village of Hans REBLIN, although less probabel, because it lies 180 km (!) south-west of Eutingen /Niefern, in the region south of Ulm, at the border Wuerttemberg /Bavaria. This Schafhausen (today: Großschafhausen) is the neighboring village of Oberbalzheim (today: Balzheim). And in this region must be the domicil of a REBLE family in the middle of the 16th century.

Hans Reble erwirbt 1642 einen Hof -- acquires a farm; he dies 1675 aged 70 years. Der Stammvater dieser Familie -- the ancestor of this family, Urban Reble dies 28 MAR 1603 aged 80 years in Oberbalzheim (eMail from Harald Kächler, Balzheim, 19 SEP 2010).

About 1558 a daughter of this family, Anna REBLE,  marries in Oberbalzheim  Jörg HEINZEL.

Another track runs to Buoch /Württemberg, (today Remshalden) in the east of Stuttgart. The ancestor of the REBLIN clan in Buoch is Jacob REBLIN, perhaps a  relative of the above Hans REBLIN.
Jacob REBLIN is born 1632 (Datum errechnet -- date calculated), place unknown, + 12 SEP 1690 in Buoch,
oo(1) Maria, 1 daughter: Anna Margaretha REBLE or REBLIN (1657-1689);

Matthias REBLE, * 1 MAR 1757 in Buoch, + 8 DEC 1815, oo 30 SEP 1783 Johanna Barbara ABELE, + 19 APR 1839 in Buoch; 1 son: Jacob Frederick REBLE, * 30 JUL 1791 in Buoch, emigrates to USA, + AUG 1849 in Taylorsburg (Mont.) OH, oo OCT 1834 in York PA, Apollonia GRATZ, * 15 JAN 1807 in York PA, + 16 JAN 1890 in Sidney (Shelby) OH.
In the following period the surname REBLE is changed into RAVELY, because it rhymes well to bravely and is simular to the wise bird rave (Rabe), from which the name REBLE is probably originated.

Back to Eutingen /Baden:

30 JUL 1709: Huldigung von Markgraf -- homage of count Karl Friedrich by Untertanen -- subjects from Pforzheim, Stein and Langensteinbach, all older than 14 years and male, among them 1441 from the Amt -- post Pforzheim, thereof 84 freemen from the village of Eutingen, among them
- REBLE,Christian

- REBLE, Jung Jacob
- REBLE, Jacob (Wilhelms Sohn)
- REBLE Michel
- REBLE, Wilhelm

In the official documents of Eutingen (for example Grundbuch , formerly Berain = land register) we don’t find the surname REBLE from 1277 to 1699. It appears the first time in the year 1700, when a Jacob REBLE becomes the owner of a piece of land. After 1700 we find 4 registrations, but with several spellings: REBLE - RÄBLIN (1721), REBLIN (1732), RÄBLE (1733), REBLEIN (1736).
In the year 1800 we find five times only the spelling REBLE, and in 1859 six times.
